PAR

Hello, I am Elissandra Rinehart and I am the new Education Coordintor for PAR.  Originally I am from Goiania, Brazil, where in 1994 I earned a degree as a bachelor in Science in Psychology.  i have over 15 years of professional experience in public services and in the mental health field.  I have recently finished my second Masters degress in Counseling from Webster University.

In 2008, I moved to Charleston, SC from Germany, where my husband was stationed for the past three years.  While living abroad, I had the opportunity to work with Children, adolescents, adults and elderly populations.  Among other things, I worked with high risk and/or special education school age children and their families in different environments and proficiencies.  It was the time of my life and we enjoyed it.
I know my academic and professional experience, as well as my life experience have been an asset to my new position as an educator because I know that education is the open door for multiple possibilities and tranform people's life.  I feel very blessed and excited about being part of PAR.
